This took me a minute to get into but once I did it was smooth sailing. It actually became pretty fast paced. It is only around a 200 page book so I read it in one evening because I had to know what was happening. There are plenty of twists and turns with Hunting Taylor Brown and the author writes likeable characters. If you are looking for a fast paced thriller I highly recommend picking this one up.Product details

One of my favourite Australian authors is Matthew Reilly - I have found another one - Rhys Hagan. This is a great story with characters that really grow on you. It has a steady to fast pace with lots of action and emotion. I loved the story line of kidnapping, romance, friendships and grief. A really good read that I recommend highly.
Excellent book. I couldn't get enough of it, it was twists and turns the whole way through the book. I'll be keeping my eye out for more books by this author.
I couldn't put this down. Every time I thought one thing was going to happen something else did. Excellent writer and story.
Rhys Hagan is a bright new talent among Australian authors. Hunting Taylor Brown--while being a fast-paced crime/thriller--offers an insightful commentary on how we treat society's most vulnerable. We see this represented through the relationship between the protagonist, Ryan Hall, and his heart-warming relationship with the title character. I highly recommend this book to people who are looking for a quick, yet gripping, read.
This book is full of suspense and quite dark in places. There wasn’t any unnecessary or flowery dialogue and it cut to the chase, but was very descriptive at the same time. It allowed me to imagine being with the lead character and seeing what he was seeing. It tugged at my emotions at both ends of the spectrum with plenty of characters to like and dislike. I would recommend to anyone who likes horror, suspense, thriller, mystery, military or detective novels and the like.
This was my first book that I have read by this author. This was a book that kept the reader on the edge of their seats. You couldn't stop turning the pages to see what was going to happen next. The author took the time to develop the characters fully giving them three dimensional qualities. The author told the story so vividly the reader could actually see what's going on in their mind. With this being a debut book by this author it would be great to see what they come up in the future. I would recommend giving this author a try especially if you like suspense. I received a copy in exchange for a honest and unbiased opinion.
What a great read! I stayed in it couldn't lay it away, Taylor a daughter of a cruel mob boss and she is kidnapped, he starts a search for her to make sure she is safe. Search that is also done by two detectives who have a painful past together. They will have to face it and work together again.

The character are well developed, it had twists and plots and it was so well written that you felt like you were with them. Looks like it is mister Hagan's first book and I am hooked, hope to read more in the near future! I received an free copy of this book in exchange of a honest review
